Bunrnin’ Up

Cover art made for the Montreal-based band “Smug Rooster”. This artwork features the band’s mascot "Nugget” (who I had previously created for their first album) superimposed on a metallic background. Nugget shreds through the metal with one fo his talons using the literal meaning of the word “Shred” (to rip apart).

The goal of this project was a simple cartoon style similar to that of their first album (Only Time Will Tell) but with the addition of their mascot tearing through the old art to symbolize the new music on its way.

This was their first album to have a physical release.
